An 11-year-old girl was lured into a park restroom and raped by seven members of a Southern California gang - one black suspect has been identified

African-American Michael Sykes, 19, has been arrested in Moreno Valley, about 70 miles east of Los Angeles. The six others - all juveniles - involved in the shocking crime were taken into custody shortly after the March 10, 2011 attack. The horror began at a shopping center when an older girl talked the young victim into going in the Victoriano Park's bathroom in Moreno Valley. The older girl, who has since been arrested, led the 11-year-old to the bathroom, where the boys and Sykes were waiting. The young girl, who is believed to be a random victim, returned to the shopping center later and reported the attack to police. Gang members sometimes rape women as part of an initiation, but this case was unusual because the young men targeted an innocent victim. Only Sykes has been identified by cops because the rest of the attackers are minors. They will face sexual assault and gang enhancement charges. The crime comes shortly after an 11-year-old girl in Cleveland, Tex., was gang raped by 18 young men and teenage boys.

I've noticed a lot of these articles are focused around any race/religion that is not caucasian. Of course you can say that diversity is chaos, but chaos would still exist if everyone was of the same race or religion. There would still be gangs, there would still be rapes, there would still be robberies, there would still be crime and violence. Any response? I'd really like to talk further into this.

Of course there would always be problems in any society regardless of the racial/ethnic composition but whites and Asians have lower crime rates than blacks and Latinos. Therefore if the United States were just made up of whites and Asians, we would still have crime but at a much lower rate.
