PISA reading scores for 2009

Every three years, the Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development [OECD] announces the results of its Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). These are tests of school achievement for 15-year-olds in the 34 OECD countries, plus 31 other countries or regions. In 2009, in reading, out of a total of 600, Asian-Americans scored 541, white Americans scored 525, Hispanic-Americans scored 466 and African-Americans scored 441.
