Lafourche Parish deputies have arrested four Hispanic men who raped and killed a woman before trying to hide her body in the woods

Deputies charged Gonzalo Portillo Cortes, Esdras Sanchez Garcia, Luis Nava and Jose Castillo Moreno with aggravated rape and first-degree murder. Lesley Peters, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Office, said deputies found the four men in their vehicle in Houma, where they were residing. Peters said the victim, 33-year-old Angela Laudun, voluntarily left a Galliano bar to allegedly have sex with the men in exchange for money at a home the men were repairing. Laudun, Peters said, became concerned at one point and tried to get away, but the suspects held her down and repeatedly raped her. Peters said after killing Laudun, the men put her body in an SUV, drove to the woods just north of Golden Meadow and left her there. Later a local resident bush hogging found the body and reported it to the Sheriff's Office.
